My parents and I went to Huntsman's Grill on Thanksgiving! The food was very good and the brownie a la mode was great! My dad got a turkey dinner, my mom got a salad with salmon added, and I got a steak. All were cooked well. Only thing that I disliked was that there are taxidermy animals all over the place (which fits perfectly with the theme! I just wasn't expecting it and find taxidermy a wee-bit creepy. ) Overall, wonderful restaurant and welcoming atmosphere!

Unexpected visit for dinner after visiting the state park - on the early side. Food was great - kids liked their meals and so did the adults. Decent wine. Favorite dessert as a child was chocolate mousse and had to get it for nostalgia sake. Great server, helpful, attentive, even offered to split the brownie sundae for the two children. Fun, kitschy atmosphere.

We have been here many times. We came there Sunday for lunch. Ordered the Sirloin Steak dinner. Mash potatoes were cold and tasteless (asked for gravy, told there was none) cold broccoli, No seasoning. Ordered a burger well done, got med rare (not even hot). Very disappointed

When traveling, my wife and I like to go to different places each night. We discovered Huntsman Grill Sunday and were delighted with our meal (Game pie/venison for me and mussels For my wife). Everything was outstanding and at a rational price. The are closed on Mondays so we had to wait until tonight to return. I had alligator and surry sausage gumbo (fantastic) and The Princess had grilled salmon (some of the best she ever had). Some of the best food we have ever had and all at a rational price. Friendly service and FAST and we’ll be there tomorrow and break our rules about going to different places.

One of our go-tos in Wmbg. Limited regular menu with several nightly specials. Portions big enough to feed my 16-year old! Friendly, attentive wait staff. Best onion rings in town!
